Marthas Vineyard Airport

Airport Manager - Welcome

Since the 1950's, the Martha's Vineyard Airport has served as the primary general aviation/commercial airport gateway to the Island. The Airport strives to serve the travelling needs of our Island residents as well as numerous visitors who come to the Island to enjoy its beautiful beaches, walking trails, and other local attractions.

In an effort to maintain the Airport and better serve the needs of the travelling public, we are in the midst of several major construction projects. These projects, which total in value in excess of $20 million, will bring increased safety and refresh many areas of the Airport that were last reconstructed in the 1970's. We apologize for any inconvenience this construction may cause our customers during the summer season. We are hoping to wrap up the ramp resurfacing project towards the end of this year and look forward to having a newly resurfaced ramp in 2012.

On behalf of the airlines, the Airport and its employees, I welcome you. We are pleased to play a part in your traveling needs and look forward to having our courteous staff help you
